Review on the book "Warren Buffett Speaks"
Warren Buffett Speaks: Wit and Wisdom from the World's Greatest Investor by Janet Lowe, published by John Wiley & Sons, in August 2007.
Warren Buffett is probably one of the world's most successful investors and is often closely studied and imitated. However, his success is probably the hardest to duplicate. He doesn't invest in stock market alone in that he also buys business that has great prospect. This book collects Buffett's words on life, friends, family, work, running business and investing in one convenient place so you can learn about his views on these topics.
Don't be disappointed if this book doesn't tell you specific tips on how to pick stocks. It is more important to learn about his investment principles. Though Buffett doesn't write any book on investment which is probably best done by his mentor Benjamin Graham who started value investing, you can still read his annual letters to the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders to learn about his investment principles.
Since this book contains less than 300 pages, it is an easy read and can be helpful for people who seeks wisdom from Warren Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha. :)
